Nature’s Cradle has been a garden center that has been with us for a while and within the last bit they have opened up their ecommerce platform. This one is quite unique I must say as it does a lot more than the standard Woocommerce site. On top of that this has a very nice design that was done by Dog Ear Marketing as always.

Design

In a lot of cases sites usually just follow the boilerplate designs for ecommerce which is OK but thankfully Nature’s Cradle wanted to stand out and stand out they shall. Highlighting their colors and working everything into a nice layout customers can find popular items, new items, and even staff picks that are highlighted for sales.

Integrated Features

This site has a lot going on inside of it. Not only does it offer the traditional ecommerce platform but it also works hand in hand with the brick and mortar garden center POS system. When an order is made on the site, the order is transferred down to the store to be processed for pickup. Not many stores do this and is super helpful for those that want to maximize sales online and in store.

Digital Gift Cards are another integrated feature that is here and also works with the in store POS system. Customers can come into the site, order any size of gift card and either spend it on the site or send it to someone else as a gift.

At the time of typing there is also a very large plant finder project in the works that will be posted about later once it’s finished up. Are you looking for a certain plant? One that fits in your yard based on very certain characteristics? The plant wizard will find it for you and allow you to order it from the site.

Everything Else

The site is super fast and has a lot going for it. I cannot wait to see it continue to progress over time. Nature’s Cradle continues to be one of my favorite clients to work with as they are always looking for cool features to be adding to the site. Coming soon there are plans for adding other features for the landscape purchasers and other customers to order in bulk for their projects and be able to pick them up just like standard retail customers.
